Belinda -- Thanks for the kind words! I'm afraid that was a one-shot show, just to try out my new camera equipment last year. It sure was fun to produce, though! :-D

ok so I am not sure where the heck this took me, but while I was on the web looking for a recipe for Nam Sod, I found your you tube video for the recipe and just wanted to say that I loved the presentation. Do you have others?

Thanks

Hi Frank

I had emailed you through CPod's user profile details. After I return (3/12) I'd be honored to write something for your blog. I will have very little time in Shanghai (36 hours) since I'm on a tour. But, I will make the most of my time there : )

Hey Frnak,
Light, camera and action... you got all of that in your photos, great job, you captured everything about China and then some, thank you for sharing it with us.You should not worry about falling behind your Chinese lessons, what you just experienced is the most important part of learning process... Cheers

nice pictures, Frank, though a little redundant. I agree with you about working more on the lessons than on chatting with other poddies. The lessons are great and studding them is the best way to learn.

Awesome photos Frank. Btw, who was that actor in one of your photos that had been on screen with Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Chuck Norris. And is Steven Seagal still eating his heart out?

Where'd you take the photo?

Hiya, Doc! I'm sorry I missed your e-mail! Did you e-mail me through the CPod site, or my personal address? Not that it matters, but I'm curious.

Anyway, I'm using a simple little Sanyo phone and I have Sprint as my carrier. I was able to make calls to my family back here in the States, but it was utterly useless for making calls in-country. Luckily, all the calls I needed to make were local calls from my hotel so I used that.

While I'm thinking about it, you should listen to the latest Dear Amber show. I think they just covered this, too!

I can't wait to hear about your own experiences in China and at the ChinesePod offices. How would you feel about doing a guest turn here on the Newbie Blog to share your story?
