So. Tonight is my Practice Plan appointment with Aggie. I decided to go with the Elementary lesson, “How Spicy?”. I think someone had actually suggested that. (Thanks to you!)
When I think about it, I realize that it’s been a good long while since I spoke to Aggie (who was my counselor for the two months I did the Practice Plan before). She’s an absolutely fantastic coach and I’m really excited to talk to her again. I’d like to think I’ve made some real progress since the last time we spoke, so I want to make a good showing, you know? The last thing I want to do is choke and come off sounding like I’m still a Newbie!
Not that there’s anything wrong with being a Newbie! In many ways, to be honest, I’m still a Newbie myself. Forget the fact that I’ve been dipping my toes into the Intermediate pool. It takes me days to get through those. In fact, one of my favorite things about ChinesePod is that I still get new vocabulary from every lesson, no matter what level it is. It’s really great!
I’ll report tomorrow about how tonight’s conversation went. I wonder if I’m the only winner of Movie Madness that has spent this much time stressing about one phone call.
Uh, I’m a wee bit jealous right now, you know that Frank? Aggie is a great lady and I wish it was me talking to her.
Lunetta, I was a little jealous of me, too. LOL It was such a great phone call! Details soon!
And you can win a free Practice Plan session, too! All you have to do is win at Movie Madness! Go for it!
Oh, but I did. Twice!
Ah, so you know Aggie’s awesomeness first-hand!
