In the immortal words of Monty Python, “I’m not quite dead!”

Still here. Still managing to carve out a few minutes every day (or at least every other day) to listen to the lessons and try my hand at The Fix. I’m not manic about drilling down right now. I’m not hitting the website at all. I’m just listening and letting it seep in through the cracks.

I met a friend from Chengdu for dinner up in Orlando yesterday and she taught me a cute little poem. No, you can’t hear it. Not yet. I still sound like a damned fool. Maybe someday soon.

In other news, today was screen tests for the movie. I got all but two of the roles cast. Things are going well there! I’ve got a few more people to see on Tuesday night, and then principal photography starts on the weekend. It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad world.

Okay. Back to the grind.
