Level 1, Lesson 3-5: Audio Review

Here at the ChinesePod Integrated Chinese Blog we’re still working on getting caught up, but the wait is finally over for you fans of the ChinesePod audio review “Fix.” We’ve got some long ones to review the lessons we’ve covered through Lesson 5.

First, we have the Fix for lessons 3-5, in both long and short versions:

Then we have the Fix for lessons 1-5 (keep reviewing that old stuff!), in both long and short versions:

And, just in case you want to review the old review Fix (lessons 1-2), here it is again:

NOTE: There was an error from the first lesson where the verb 姓 (xìng) was incorrectly translated as “to be” (rather than “to be surnamed”) in the Fix. Every Fix file which contained that error is now fixed. Sorry for the confusion!

Enjoy, and let us know how you feel about these materials.

    Hi John,
Thank you for posting this. I have to say that this is good for review but it is of less immediate use as we have moved on and are now ahead by about three chapters. I will be using the material that you post for review over Winter break so as not to forget what I have acquired. I read the notice that you can’t mesh every one’s schedule but it seems that the postings are less often than at the beginning. I do like this blog and I am sure that is will be of great use to students the second time around when you have a bank of the material already and they can access it when they need it. You won’t be under the gun to produce it. My disappointment and frustration (this is mild, please don’t mistake me here) is due to the fact that when the material coincides with my doing a lesson, it is extremely helpful.

    Best,
    Toni

Thanks for the fixes, they are great as usual!

Will it be possible for Cpod to catch up in time to start the second book according to the schedule given back in the August blog?

I just found these today, and they are alreading helping me so much. Without these I could write and read find, but my speaking was terrible. Already I can tell that people will be able to understand what I am saying much easier.

    Thanks.
