ChinesePod and the Read/Write web

Richard macmanus

Richard MacManus is the writer and web 2.0 afficionado behind Read/Write Web. He’s been a daily read for me for the last few months. In fact, he has almost become synonymous with the term read write web. Carving out that niche was a very smart thing for him to do, because the future of the web is definitely a read/write future.

Recently I sent off an email to him and he was kind enough to feature ChinesePod in his blog today.

Richard also writes for Zdnet.

I hope to invite Richard to do a phone interview, perhaps next week. If you have any questions you’d like to pose to him, let me know what they are.

Ken Carroll discusses issues concerning learning generally, and learning Mandarin in particular. With technology as the driver, he believes the most effective learning combines elements of collaboration with self-direction. If that seems like a contradiction, then you need to read the blog.
