Simultaneous translation of the podcasts

Here’s an interesting video/audio mash-up: Maxiewawa listens to and an advanced intermediate show and translates simultaneously (or at least he gives it his best shot) into the camera. This is a difficult thing to do. I’d give him pretty good marks - it’s funny, too.

Very well done. Fierce competition for Lantian on the horizon I would say…and it is funny.

That guy is priceless and amazing thanks for showing us his blog.

    My take on it:
The more people that start doing things like this the better. Get people playing and learning with Mandarin like this and more people are going to learn it.

I enjoy watching or listening to anyone who has such an obvious enthusiasm for Chinese.

Nice if somewhat unexpected re-use of Chinesepod material ;)

I need to do this more in the public domain, language is sound and communication is sound and vision. Maybe that is why I find it so hard to keep my blog upto date, because it is written.

Basically this made my evening :):):)

    :) 哪里!
Keep tuned for more simultaneous translation madness. Again, I don’t know why those funny voices came out.

The voices were the best bit, I like the John impression. I didn’t realise Jenny had an Australian accent though. :D

    什么?

    Ken,

After all our hard work to make intermediate lessons more accessible to those trying to bridge the gap, you call this one an “advanced intermediate”?

    You wound me.

    Hilarious vid, though.
