ChinesePod in Red Herring

Here is an article about ChinesePod from Red Herring magazine. I think the author, Kaiser Kuo, does a good job here of getting across the essentials, especially since we only just spoke yesterday!

Very nicely written with more detail and substance than most other articles. I suspect Kuo is a Cpodie! 是吗?

Actually Kaiser is a former rock star who played with the band Tang Dynasty during the 90s. I think he did a great job on this article. Obviously a man of many talents.

“Chinesepod.com offers its audio downloads for free and makes its money by charging more serious language-learners $240 for a full subscription, or $9 a month for transcripts of podcasts, emailed to subscribers as a PDF.”

Transcripts are emailed? I have yet to receive one. Not that it’s needed because I log in to read the transcript.

The article is good. I can’t give it an excellent grade because it failed to mention Jenny! It’s wonderful that they mentioned John, but no Jenny? Gosh, I am beginning to sound and act like the rest of the male poddies after seven weeks of Cpod-addiction. ;)

Nice article. Great to see the “30 million” number still making the rounds! Kudos to John and Ken.
