ChinesePod in Time Asia, City Weekend, and Readers Digest, say what?

Seems the word is getting out about just how easy it can be to learn Mandarin. ChinesePod was mentioned in both Time Asia and Readers Digest magazines this week, and was part of a feature article about the state of English language podcasting in China published by City Weekend magazine (our partners for Word on the Street).

I am still getting over the fact that Readers digest has a website. Times do indeed change.

Readers Digest Canada - Best of the Web, by Julia Slater

City Weekend feature article - Pod This, by Collin Crowell

Good publicity. I liked the City Weekend article. I hope Cpod is successful and is making money for owners so it sticks around. There is so many laowais working at Cpod compared to our foreign factories in China or any foreign operation I know in China. I have not figured out how you guys can be making money but I hope you are successful. Good luck.

ChinesePod has been reviewed in the German Macwelt magazine’s iPod Special as a way to brush up your rusty knowledge of mandarin. These guys seem to know their 汉语! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a link at their website http://www.macwelt.de/channels/ipod/.

    Joachim,

The people at Handelsblatt contacted us recently. They want to run a story/review in one of their magazines later in the summer. I think there’s a sizable interest in Mandarin in Germany.
