The 4 tones

Here’s a useful little lesson on the 4 tones.

We’ve had quite a few comments on the tones recently. I’ll do another lesson on those soon.

Great link! The Beijing accent is a bit strong in the videos.

I don’t mean to kick a gift horse in the mouth…. and…. I’m enjoying the podcasts but I’m a bit more advanced. Hearing and understanding is what I need. Any suggestions on resources for an intermediate learner?

    Hi Ann,

I don’t really have anything to recommend at the moment. Let me look ointo it in more detail. If anyone has any suggestions, pls let us know.

A few weeks from now, ChinesePod will probably set up a new feed for an intermediate audience.

Let us know if you find any good stuff.
